The bathroom is clean and the room is a good size with plenty of natural light, the staff is incredibly friendly, the check-in process is quick, there is parking available below the hotel, and the wifi connection is very reliable.

The breakfast is excellent with variety of food. Rooms are well-organised with vast beds, coffee, a fridge, food is good!

As we were celebrating our ruby wedding anniversary having been married in Bielefeld 40 years previous it was an excellent hotel within easy walking distance of all parts of the city which allowed us to see all our old haunts. Unfortunately like most places a lot of things have changed. Pubs are virtually non existent having been taken over by piazza parlours or Turkish kebab shops. The city is clean. Travel is easy and quite cheap. Certainly a lovely to go for a shortbreak. Go to the botanic gardens. Outstanding

The hotel was excellent from arrival to departure. The staff were friendly and obliging.

The breakfast selection was excellent, catering to people of all ages with a variety of favorite foods available.

The venue is PLEASANT, with fab food and excellent location close to the Rathaus tram stop which has good connections. Location close enough to all the bars and restaurants and which was nice to walk around in the evening. For tea or coffee visit Cafe Gemach nearby.

We were visiting Bielefeld and indeed Germany for the first time to attend a family wedding. What a fabulous experience we have had there. Hotel really good, staff effecient and very helpful. Hotel was in a great location for leaving the car in the car park and walking around, or using the city transport, which was also excellent. Everyone we met could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Great variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. We would love to go back again but as we live in the South of France it is a major journey by car and price of flights from our location make it prohibative for us.

Price of breakfast

The hotel is a good home base for a weekend in Bielefeld. the rooms are top-class and neat and complete with very comfortable beds. - the new bathroom and showers are a great addition. - the breakfast has good options.

The staff,facilities,food and general cleanliness of your hotel was, in my opinion. 1st Class, well done. We will most definitely use hotel again, in the not so distant future.

Nothing to dislike.

A typical Mercure hotel: I got a special rate of less than 40 euros per night(room only)so it was excellent value for money.

At 17 euros, breakfast is way overpriced! (I did not have it!)

The location is great, close to shopping centers, the local tram, Hauptbahnhof, and vibrant nightlife until 6am. Set 2 km from Sparrenburg. - the service is good, includes great parking. - Convenient to have internet in the lobby.

Excellent service, very dedicated staff and a great location in the heart of town.

The rooms are on the smaller side and the bathrooms at a bit cramped.

Loved the Hotel but the bed in our room was very hard and uncomfortable. We have spoken to the Hotel and they have replied offering a topper type cover for future visits. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff were very very nice. the breakfast was satisfactory. - the location is magnificent, close to Bielefeld and other venues like restaurants and bars. - the bar area is lovely.

Excellent Staff! Very helpful and nice. The rooms are very clean and the location is wonderful. Come during december to experience the Weinachtsmarket...it is priceless and only 50m away from the front door. Also the breakfast buffet is fantastic and well worth the 16€.
